New York Dock Claim Worksheet

BLET Division 244 | Review your month before preparing your claim.

Read screenshots below, review the suggested entries, then add them to your month. After reviewing your entries, download the completed official NYD PDF below. Your draft can be saved in this browser or downloaded for use on another device. Original screenshot files must be selected again after reopening.

Save or resume your draft

Browser saving keeps one current draft on this device and website. On a shared computer, turn it off and use a downloaded draft instead. Clearing browser data or using private browsing may remove the browser copy. Drafts contain personal and pay information. Original screenshot images are not saved, but extracted text and reviewed entries are.

1. Craft and monthly TPA

For a full-month claim, use all calendar days in the month. For a partial month, enter the number of calendar days covered by this claim, including claimed days off (for example, July 13-31 is 19 days). This number is the divisor for daily TPA deductions, not the number of trips or days worked. Review Box 6 so only days off covered by this claim are deducted.

TPA hours stay at the original amount entered and are never reduced for days off. If omitted, the excess-hours adjustment cannot be calculated. Hours follow the claim rules: 12 hours per train/deadhead or qualifying paid status, plus actual overtime minutes counted once.

Select your craft to see the rates.

2. Employee information

3. Job assignments and days off

Enter your job at the start of the month. Add each change with its effective date. The full job number always appears in the highest rated assignment column. On days without a train or deadhead, the Trip / Hours / Earnings column shows the actual status selected in Box 6, together with that day's hours and earnings.

XBR / XEN use the 6-and-2 calendar. Fixed assignments such as M61 and C74 use the weekly days you enter. The 2026 6-and-2 calendar automatically fills scheduled rest dates for XBR/XEN turns 1-120. Other years require a new calendar. For fixed jobs, enter the weekly days on each assignment. Any other job number is accepted and shown in Box 6 from its effective date. If no schedule is configured for that job, select the actual status for each day in Box 6, including Days Off on the dates actually taken. The program will not assume days off for that job.

Scheduled rest dates automatically show Days Off unless a trip or paid status is entered. Correct any date you did not take off. Your corrections are kept when the job changes. Choose Select status to let the schedule fill that date again. If you select Yes above, enter your actual dates manually. Use the daily table to record the days you actually took off, including shifted dates. Worked rest days do not reduce TPA.

4. Pay screenshots

Select one or more screenshots. You can reopen Choose Files to add another batch. Remove an image below or clear the selection without deleting extracted text or entered pay. Each file must be 20 MB or smaller. Click Read screenshots to process new or failed images, then review every result. Enter amounts in dollars: 053000 on the pay screen means $530.00. Exclude anything marked DISAPVRD.

Screenshots are processed in this browser. The first use downloads the OCR engine and English language files from public servers. No AI API key or per-use fee is needed. Only APP-TRND is recognized automatically as approved; check other statuses manually. Possible duplicates are unchecked for your review.

5. Approved pay entries

Add a separate entry for every trip or claim, even when several occur on the same date. Selecting Deadhead fills the saved craft rate first ($496.22 conductor or $500.31 engineer); you can edit that amount to match your pay. Train and deadhead trips receive 12 hours each; overtime adds time above 12 hours, rounded to the nearest minute.

6. Daily status review

For each date without a train or deadhead, select the status. Paid non-trip entries can be added above. Smart rest and federal rest do not reduce TPA. A worked day is not deducted for FMLA or sick. Correct the daily status and pay entries as needed.

Date Highest rated assignment Trips / Hours / Earnings Suggested rest day Actual status TPA deduction

7. Monthly review

Outside earnings are fixed at $0.00. Use the official PDF download below for your claim. The print button produces a separate review worksheet.

8. Complete official NYD form

Printing and submission required: Employees using this program must print the completed form, review and sign it, and submit it through the same process used for handwritten forms.

Download your completed official form after reviewing the month. The signature, manager approval, and payroll verification sections remain blank. Review and sign the downloaded form before submission.

The original two pages retain their submission email and protective wording. Supporting detail pages explain the two claim components, any TPA deductions, and entries that cannot fit. The PDF remains editable.
